Who would've thought a squirrel with a bread on it's belly could've beat the current number one. I really like the composition and lighting. It does emphasis bread, right in the center. |

What an odd take for this challenge, but still very intriguing. |

Aimee - having just read you're write up I'm astonished that this ever set off with such low scores, I always thought it would do well as it was such a well taken photo.
This is also a good insight into life in the Too household - although I really do think that if Tim wants a slice of bread he should just get it off the table like everyone else - you spoil that man I tell you :- )

Aimee, I can't believe this scored as low as this, not that 6.2 is really low :) I really expected this to ribbon and was shocked when I saw where it ended up. Excellent image!! |

I didn't know about the photo you were trying to spoof until I saw the results of this challenge. Actually, I like yours better; I guess there'e no accounting for taste! I think you should have gotten higher scores. |

Not so many people got it, did they? Well, interesting to read your notes. Excellent shot overall, and I still appreciate the idea. I think this is underrated - 6 ones?? C'mon. |

Very pretty. This looks great in black and white. Love the draped cloth. Darn her for being so flexible! |

One of the most artistic shots in this challenge. I like the lighting and how the sheet drapes so beautifully. |

beautifully shot - your mother sure knows how to bake (and display) her bread : )
Really good control of lighting and focus. |

The bread looked a little shiny to me at first glance looked almost like apples, which is something I would expect to see in this situation. I think a different loaf of bread would have worked out better. |

i liked the original with the kid, especially because of lighting and gray tones. this one has both of those qualities and importantly equally good. cannot say that about the "concept" (naked mother-baby relation and naked woman-bread relation) though. hehehe :) |

Stunning! I'm trying to decide if the bread itself is too close in color to the background, but, then, the texture & the reflection draws my eyes to it. Great job. |

This is really an amazing shot - maybe a bit too strong on the noise reduction, but that may be the look you were going for. This is my highest rated image in the challenge so far. Well done. |
