interesting face, good composition, the curve of the collar and the turban work well as do the different textures

Did you convert this to BW using the channel mixer? it has that unusual quality that the channel mixer can give because it tends to overdo the red channel a bit. It makes the whites too white and the darks too dark (in this picture i lose some detail in the eyes that I'd like to see, but if you lightened it the robe would blow out). I tend to use the greyscale/duotone method and have had some nice results.
Good luck,
Pedro

Great use of monochrome and those eyes tell the tale, don't they? Very cool shot and the title is a good addition. - 8

Very nice b&w, I would love to see this not cropped so tightly, so serious looking!

Looks like a rather reluctant subject! Technically very good work (composition, focus, crop, contrast, etc.). Personally, I'm distracted by the wisp of hair on her forehead.

I'm back for yet another look at this shot. I have been tempted to comment three times but held back. I'm on the fence with this one...lol I will tell you that the eyes are just so wonderful....they are mesmerizing, beautiful and suck the viewer in. Reall a good shot and the softness works well with this. Great light.

The expression, the light, and the skin tone are great. A little overexposed to thte left. IMO, the towel is a take away. It contradicts the softness of the robe. BOL

She doesn't look happy about it. Maybe being a model is what upsets her. Silly, if you ask me - the capture is very nice. She should be proud.

That is a challenging look! Gentle soft lighting, gentle soft tones, works well in black and white.
