lovely sense of perspective, nice and crisp (if the bird is a bit blurry...)

Somebody must have had a good contract for steel rods. The seagull lifts this one away from the aridity of some modern buildings (some are wonderful) but the parallel lines are indisputable.

nice angle on the shot...the bird doesn;t really add anything to your shot, but its not a bad thing either

Nice perspective and the gull adds to the image a lot too, perhaps some curves adjustments needed, but thats just me. NIce image

I just find the sea gull a bit trite...sort of like a flower sitting on one of the lines for no good reason. the lines and composition are great just wish you hadn't had to be artsy about it. and the bird really isn't in that great a position or focus for it to mean anything other than look what I found after I got home.

I think rotating this picture 90 degree clockwise would have made it more interesting. It looks very cool to me, Try it!
Another thing is that the bird is not quite in focus, the picture would have been more effective if it was.
Otherwise it's a nice composition

Great perspective! I only wish the colors were a bit more vibrant and the bird in focus.

Nice POV, is that a trained gull? :-)

Bloody excellent shot! I'd like to see this in the top 20 (not that I've seen all the entries yet). The bird is a lucky addition to this photograph and the perspective, just MAKES it. Well done. 8

Great angle, providential shot of the bird.

I like this shot. I like the way the vertical line is parallel to the frame on the right, rather than in the centre like it usually is in these types of shots. It gives it something a bit more unique which is good. I think in post-processing you should have added a little more contrast as it seems a little flat at the moment. Its a shame that the bird isnt sharper. It's kinda the focal point, being on a 3rd line, and breaking the clear sky, but the fact that it is blurred spoils it unfortunatly.

See I was definitely right with the screaming on the bird. I love the way the rightmost line is parallel to the edge of the frame and the others all converge to that side of the frame too. The bird provides balance against the hard modern lines of the building. Good to get cloud texture in too.

The bird makes a great counterpoint to the building's lines. - 8

I remember you taking this shot, and Kavey shouting about the bird :o) Coincidentally, this is the same building as the one in my entry! Good shot overall, but might have benefitted from a bit more postprocessing, esp focus and levels (the bird is a bit blurred, and the colours could be a tad richer).

I really love this one - esp. with the bird flying by. Good luck!
