Well done. I love this shot. I like your crop. I'm certain I would have cropped out the far left of the image and a bit off the top, but I prefer this. I like the added depth provided by the hint of the birds right wing (assuming that's a wing!!!).

Thanks Rex, your taste is impeccable! This bird was on a trainers arm at a winter festival. It was dark behind the bird, and so the background is pretty much stopped-out. I didn't do any fancy editing other than some dodging & burning here & there on its feathers.

I'm very pleased with this shot, and I think it's one of my best ever. I like it better than any of the top five shots on my profile page.
