absolutely delicious! the use of water to add some reflection and texture to the apples really works well here in b/w

Lovely composition here and even on my dark monitor it looks fine. The only thing I can think of to improve a little would be if the two mian drops of water were tack sharp.

I love the light and dark contrasts of the first apple. The water droplets add a nice bit of dimension to the smooth skin of the fruit.

Good composition, nice dof, great textures on the apple amplified by removing the color.

You teach me that by removing colour the viewer can only appreciate tone and form. The bw rendition yields a tranquil, sometimes passive image, which has its place as you show here.

The nice thing about shooting things like this in B&W is it renders the detail, the texture, the feel of the object above it's expected appearance. One doesn't see an apple so much as the structure of the apple.

This is really nice - subtle lighting, that extreme shallow dof. Great textures.

Oooooh, what a cool take on apples! I love this in black and white. Dang! I feel like I can almost taste it sitting here! So crisp and sharp! The contrasts are just beautiful!

I think you did a really nice job bringing out the essence of the apples with a wonderfully detailed B&W macro. On my work monitor this will look a little dark and I assume many people have that same view. For the internet you might see if this needs some curve adjustment to insure that people can see the subtle detail.
