 Yes, i got all dolled up for ya'll! I even had an apron on (well currently i still have it on, but thats beside the point lol) So i got into this today, and yes thats real syrup in that container. bought the apron and the syrup pourer at D.I., the best store ever besides Walmart or Smiths.

The selective desat works very well here. I like the angle you've chosen, too.

This is really great, I so love the idea, although we can't really see the apron, I think the rest works rather well. I am wondering what if you had a nice big pad in the apron with a pencil, or maybe even the pencil behind your ear? in your hair? Oh hell, its a Fav anyway L()L. Fantastic work.

You look like maybe you work at an I-HOP :) It's so cuuuuuute and your light is excellent! I like the way you are gently emerging from the background. Sweet photo Kari!

if yas had a beer-mug youd look like the st.pauly girl! i like the angle for i feel it makes the viewer feel like they are the one your asking...i hope its blueberry,mmmmmmmmm

You dressed up for DPC? GOOD! So far I've painted my head red and gone naked - so you're getting off lightly young lady!! :) By my reckoning you've run out of home shoot locations like many of us and are now having to resort to dressing up...at least that's my excuse. Oh yeah, constructive criticism about the photo:

I'm not sure I like the blue eye saturation thing because it detracts from the rest of your costume. Also for this shot surely you'd have the opposite PoV, presumably offering syrup to a seated customer at the same or lower level that you - whereas you've shot downwards which gives the impression that you're small or the viewer is huge. But of course I could be totally overanalysing.
