This is 'Westwind', our Arabian. He gets a bit worked up with strong windy days...we had wind gusts up to 50mph today that really got his motor running! :-) I was only able to get a few shots in before they (we have two) made their way to the barn once they saw me. This shot is a bit tighter than I'd like (really, really wish I had his entire shadow in the frame), but I was too close.
Shot this in shutter priority mode at 1/20, ISO 100 - auto aperture went to F22. Sigma 50-500 @50mm.

- Clarify +1
- Resize
- USM (.35,100,10) +luminance

| I think this is well done. It is hard to enter animals in this type of challenge because the images with a single still place of movement will typically score well. |

| Great job keeping the horse clear despite what looks like a significant shutter time. A lower pov might have brought the line between background textures nicely to the upper third. That line is a little distracting to me as it is. Nice shot overall. |
