Aran is cute. :-) I'm guessing your score is based on the DNMC factor (based on comments). Such is the way of DPC - I think it's a great shot of Aran (he's got an awesome smile) and I like how the lights behind are shining through his person. |

The smoke adds a nice effect here. Not only is the background blurry, but part of the subject which is very neat. |

The panning effect is too subtle for me. I think this needs more background elements to show the motion. Love how you captured the flame. |

I see some blurred lines in the background, but the panning technique is not evident. seems more like a stop action shot using flash. |

This doesn't appear to be panning to me... i.e. the camera isn't moving it's just the background subjects moving. Still a nice street shot. |
