I really wrestled with some harsh lighting on this. I wanted to use a diffuser but found I had left it at home. I wish I had composed the shot with the people in the background in a place other than right over the wine bottle. I realize very little of the shot is composed of "Bread" but I am hoping it's enough.

What I like about this one is that the arrangment of the items is very professional looking. The out-of-focus people in the background make the image look almost like an ad (which is a good thing IMO) but I think it would be more balanced if either the people or the wine bottle was moved to the other side. The flash of white in the b/g is distracting as well. Definitely has potential though! Strong 7 from me.

*salivates* Blue cheese on fresh bread.... Great set up. Background colour feels slightly washed out, but nonetheless a lovely shot.

good thought, but the background kind of kills it. the lighting on the food and wine is very nice though.

I really like this photo. The outdoor picnic scene add originality. The subjects in your background look a bit artifacty (The 'glow' around the people), but it's still excellent.

lunch is served, nicely done, would have liked to have not seen you in teh reflection of hte bottle. But I love the shiney surface of the bread against the grain of the wheat bread . Actually you shot has made me hungry, which is a great comliment for the shot

I like how you arranged this still life outside rather than in front of a drab backdrop. The people might have been better positioned; they look odd perched on top of the wine bottle.
