 Visited the local plant conservatory today. Nice to get away from the snow and ice.

i am a big fan of the repeating liness created by the cactus thorns - i am just not crazy about the out of focus areas in the lower right -it seems to contrast too much the sharpness of the rest of the image in a distracting way

Nicely composed image :) Some of the spines look overexposed to me and I would have cleaned up some of the specs in between the spines. The frame is well filled and the simple lines are very effective.

Botanical photos, you teach me, should never be overlooked. They always have some sort of careful pattern showing, be it Fibonacci numbers, or geometrical symmetry. Perhaps they are signs of 'the plan.' ;-)

Nice, somewhat abstract photo. There is good detail in the thorns, and like how it blurs in the lower right hand corner.

Sweet shot! Perfect for b/w. Love the angle of the lines but the focus on the bottom right is a bit to blurry. Would love to see the whole picture in focus.

There is a nice level of contrast and I like how the lines lead the eye to the top left corner of the image - nicely done.

Great example of contrast, shapes and blur combined together to make a wonderful b/w study. I love the natural vignetting caused by the shallow DOF and those almost translucent spikes are wonderful. Great photo!
