very contemplative and emotive shot - really well done and delivered
hopefully you are able to find peace in yourself while traveling - it can be quite trying - especially when you HAVE to do it... |

I like this portrait because it's so unusual, the reflection on the headboard adds alot to the shot, I do agree with most and see the vignette as unecesary |

I agree about losing the fg bed and think the top half of the image is enough to tell the story here. The reflection in the headboard if planned is genius, if not is genius ;)
My only thoughts would to be the inclusion of an open suitcase and (as has been said) am not sure about the vignetting. The harsh light has been well captured and this is a very good, crisp B&W.

man there is just the best feeling of walking around naked in a hotel room after a shower, the carpet always seems to feel so good on the feet |

Almost surreal. Brave and unusual. (Vignetting - lens hood?- a bit at odds with the lines (diagonal and vertical) which lead to and contrast with the figure and would do so more strongly without it). |

I can't tell you how many times I have been on work travel and felt just like this picture shows. Very good capture of a long hard and perhaps tedious day of work just to come back to an empty hotel room.
I didn't notice the vignetting until I just read nikolaos' comment. What I did notice was a darkness surrounding the mood depicted by the photo. |

This is a really great image. It's quite emotive and subduing. Good use of the whole room to help convey the loneliness....love that reflection/shadow, too. |

I thing the vignetting does not add anything, other than that I think it portrays wonderfully an inner self. Great picture. |

In this photo you teach me a little about the portrayal of vulnerability and the psychology associated with such settings. I am peeking into a private world. You are exposing an inside look at your mind (body as well, I suppose). The viewer becomes voyeur. |

Well, if ya have to be on the road, it looks like you got a nice comfy place to land at the end of the day. I think this is a perfect photo to be processed in black and white. The shades of blacks, whites and grays contrast so beautifully.
I like the tattoo. . . Adds character and interest :) |

I felt it had a somber mood before I read your comments, now I knwo it was supposed to. Great way to express oneself and an excellent shot. |

Great image and it really tells the story of a weary traveler. The reflection in the headboard adds to this. |

I've been traveling for the last two weeks and think that this photo captures very well how travel can wear on you. You look lonely. |

This is something I do quite often, but I don't sit on the edge of the bed naked. hahaah.. This is a wonderful b/w. So many different contrasting colors, lines and shapes. I really like the reflection on the headboard. Maybe a tighter crop?? |

I can relate - the one bed that is slept in, the other used just to sit. Though I rarely sit around unclothed as the rooms are usually a tad on the chilly side. It does look like a very nice hotel! There's something unsettling about it. And that's not necessarily a bad thing. |

This is really interesting - I would almost crop it a bit tighter to remove the foreground bed. I like the shadow/reflection on the head board and the strong light from the window illuminating the person. Well done. |

I really like this. It speaks of weariness, but it could also be about loneliness, or even about "the morning after." Technically speaking, the white spot above the bed backboard catches my eye. It also tilts a bit, though that's not necessarily a problem. |
