The colors are graduated very nicely here. Strong geometrical image. I agree that this one is sharper. I am viewing on a 24 inch LCD.

I like how the colors gradually lighten from top to bottom. I am guessing this was early morning? It looks so quite around there. |

I agree, I think this one is better of the two. I am using a 19" LCD. |

Roger - I'm looking at both of these on a 22" LCD flatscreen - it's brand new and has been calibrated - whether that means anything is anybody's guess.
Photo 1 is definitely lighter and shows more detail especially around the foyer of the building on the left. It appears, however, that the lines of the buildings are not as sharp in this shot and there is a little bit more noise.
Don't know if this helps any - I think we all might have the same problem. |

This is the better of the two, certainly due to the blending you did. I'm guessing you're going for the HDR-type thing. It can be done in PS but the EXIF must be stripped away or there's the Wukong Beta going around where you can do it from a single exposure.
I like the shot you took here, and I'm guessing early morning since there's not much traffic. I like how that bit of sun is peaking out, suggesting the beginning or end of the day. The picture seems a bit cool for this time of day; but that may be what you were going for. A bit of warming filter may help it match the time of day it was taken at.
I'm viewing on a calibrated 19" LCD. |

I prefer this one. It is not so dark as nr.2 so I can see more details in the dark parts.
