Crop, channel mixer conversion, curves, USM.
This was the one I wanted to submit to the Reflections challenge. Found it after spending the late afternoon looking for reflections in the harbour. Lacks something compositionwise.... but I couldn't help myself.
Actually a parking lot; crabs and birds on bench; just enjoyed the irony of finding this after trying to take dpc ribbon type shots in the harbour.

Love this one- the imitation of life, the water so wrong for the "sea" creatures pictured.

i like the complexity of the top of the image - especially with all the seaside themes - but the foreground seems misplaced and unnecessary

I would go for a wider shot from a lower angle, depending on whats on the distance, but the tones look very nice, I like rainy days for b&w.

My initial thought was that I'd have preferred all the fg to be water but on reflection (sorry) I fill in the missing part of the reflection myself. Am pretty sure your other reflection shot would score much higher with the dpc voters than this.

I like the reflection and your B&W conversion. I bet this would be a great place to take some candids when people are present. I wonder if a bit more on top would balance it out a bit.

You remind me that gentle echoes, as in reflections, enhance a photo.

Fun fun! Love the octopus reflection. I like the crabs and birds back there too. Lots of things to check out in this picture!

Nicely composed, I like the reflections being the main part of the shot. Love the abandoned playground feel this has.

Heh! I like the octopus. Looks like he's trying to get back to his more natural wet habitat. 'Tis an interesting park/playground kinda place - are those crabs?
