 I've always loved the sidewalk outside my house with all of its cracks and marvelous textures, but I've never had a good excuse to really try photographing it until this challenge; the fence worked nicely as an additional set of parallel lines. I had several ideas for this challenge, but this turned out to be the photograph I liked best.

Editing: Cropped, sharpened once, resized, coloured with hue/saturation, curves tweaked, border added.

This is a warm and pleasant image and a perfect interpretation of the Challenge. Because I ignore borders when giving scores, this is well worth a 9. But do please think about this border which visually covers part of this very nice image. It's good. Why cover it up. (Okay, sorry about the soapbox) Good luck.

Nice composition.... but would like it a little more towards the right showing more of the fence... a 6 for me..
