I like this one the best of the two. I jusy feel the blue eye is overbearinginthe other shot. i like the tone and the sharpness of the eye, nicely done! |

great detail in the lovely eye..my only comment is probably related to the layers..it almost looks like sand or some sort of flakes b/tw her eyes |

I agree, I prefer this one as well. The tone on this is really nice and rich. |

Nice range of tones here. I prefer this one over the selective color one - I don't know - with this particular composition, the selective color treatment just strikes me as gimmicky (although that blue in the other one is fabulous). You've got great focus and clarity on that eye, with striking darks and lights, so who needs color? :) |
