Went out the morning after an ice storm to get some pictures before it all melted. It was raining lightly so there were no fun sunlight reflections to get and the lighting was relatively bad, but these little drips reflected the woods out back and the branches were still encased in ice, which I liked the look of.
PP - converted 3x (normal, light, dark), merged as HDR, levels on normal layer, copied HDR version as a layer and merged with normal using multiply (white as transparent) at 50% to remove blownout highlights in HDR version, rotated, cropped, dodged/burnt details, increased saturation and contrast, made dupe layer, gaussian blur, erased all but background, merged, resized, sharpened with noise reduction, added border. |
