MULLIGAN! :
should never have chosen to burn the left corner....

For those of you wondering, Pandora was the little girl in Greek Mythology who was charged with guarding a box with the bane of the world stored inside. She opened the box, letting all the demons/emotions escape(Despair, Hatred, Pestilence). The only thing remaining in the box was Hope.

I suspect that this is a classic example of a great 'art' photo which is just not voter friendly, but none the less a great photo. I gave it a '9' for what its worth...

I like the PP on this, reminds me of a movie poster. I'm interested in the meaning of the title as it relates to this photo.

Not a fan of of the hi-key look in this.

This is an interesting take. The tones are not working for me, though. The grain adds interest, but the darker color in the lower left takes the thought of High Key away as the detail disappears.

A bit too much over processing with the curves and contrast. it's alot on the eyes being that bright.

I like this shot, and the consept but I feel something was lost in post, It is too grainy and too many details have become blown out.

I am not following the concept here. I think the over sat is just a bit much and the sideways crop doesn't in my opinion add to telling the story of the image.

The expressions are great. Not a huge fan of the blown out whites of the photo

I'm sure there's some deeper meaning to this image than what I'm seeing that relates to this challenge. It's very "artistic" with the high contrast and B/W approach. I do find the burned area of her shirt and pants to be distracting as it turned out grey and kind of jumps out - which is probably the opposite of the intended effect.

Nice idea, interesting treatment. I particularly like the preserved detail of her left eye in a blown out face. One of my favourites so far...
