 This was a load of fun to shoot. The fam went on a nice 2-mile hike to lower and upper Latourell Falls. Afterward we came back to lower Latourell and I donned a drysuit hidden by a jacket and some sweatpants (because it's a brilliant blue) and waded out to as close to the falls as I could get. The wash and wind were hard to stand in while holding still (the shot was 0.4 seconds). I was, of course, absoutely soaked and lots of onlookers seemed amused at the crazy guy.

I wish it was advanced editing to help control the sharpening.

Nice doc. At least you didn't carry the camera out there this time. I think you should do a SP series of yourself in various ticklish, wet, dirty, ect. situations.

I love the rocks at the falls! You can look up "columnar jointing" and learn more about the geological setting of that area....The falls are situated in what appears to have been one or more huge basaltic lava flows! Just beautiful examples of it! Bravo!

Very nice photo. Love how bright the waterfall looks. Find the mist around the guy a little distracting. I keep thinking I should be able to see him a little clearer, even though I know why I can't.
