 This bookshop has been here as long as I can remember, and thank goodness, it seems to be doing fine. It's been spiffed up a lot, but I used to buy used Nancy Drews here on my way home from school. They were $.25 per book.

These old bookstores have so much more character than these modern mega-chains that have everything, including coffee and sandwiches. I like how you can literally smell the books in these places. Lots of nice detail; it makes me want to go browsing.

I love bookshops. Don't go in too often, because I can't go out without buying a book. Hope it stays there forever.

They probably are back to $.25 once again, sorry to say. Books lose value so quickly and sadly. It is great to see an old bookstore still thriving in this day and age of impersonal big stores.

Nice shot -- it glows with light and color. When I was a boy my dad owned a bookshop. I went through all the Hardy Boy books -- before they had been "modernized." I started with the ones owned by my older brothers, and eventually fleshed out the collection with my own. And when I was done with Frank & Joe, I read my sister's collection of Nancy Drew books!

the statues on the left, they really give this a zing...I love how you focused on the lights
