Seems pretty clear to me! LOL!!! I lived in a development that closed the bridge right outside the entrance for 17 months......THREE MILES to get around it. |

Heh!! Too funny! Sorry to say that I suspect some of the voters didn't make the connection with the title. And I get a kick out of the suggestion to add a prostrate husband on the ground.... |

I got a kick out of this entry, with the idea that someone would deliberately send you down a dead end. Hmmm, sort of a good metaphor for a number of situations. I like the processing for this shot -- looks cold and gray, and definitely not a time when you want to be lost. |

I'm not sure why the subject is here. My eyes bounce from the signs to the barrier to the truck and back again. |

Seems like a snapshot, but I also like it. |

Clever Idea, however the composition, lighting, psot processing all make this look snapshotish. there is too much going on... perhapse a tighter shot of the sign with the baricade without the truck and poles in the background. |

I think that your caption on this one doesn't help it. When you look at the image it is pretty obvious that you would not be able to go any further even if the signs were not there. Also I would have liked to have seen a diffrent angle used here. |

I cant quite make the connection with the challenge. Now if you had a husband prostrate on the ground pleading for his wife's forgiveness for taking a shortcut... maybe. |

Very cluttered with the trees and powerlines. Nice photo none-the-less. |

Image is a little flat and gray. Maybe looking at shooting the same image in the morning or near sunset.
cheers, |
