Expected to see this in the top 10...perhaps it didn`t fit the challenge too well for some people.

Love the rich color in the forefront and the way that goes against the background. I think the title draws away from the main focus though. 8

This is a beautiful image. The black and gold bands at the bottom of the picture are very strong and the lacy network of branches of the trees well focussed.
The misty mountains at the back provide the perfect backdrop.

The two lines of grass are striking. i think there is too much sky. It could have been cropped just a little bit or more of the foreground dark might have been shown.

Very pretty photo and nice composition, no doubt. But parallel lines dont' seem to be the focus. If I had to choose a theme here, it'd be "layers." I know power lines would ruin the beauty of a shot like this, but think how it would balance the line aspect. Just a thought.

The interest in this image comes from the colours on the ground. Cropping the sky almost all the way to the top of the mountains would give it more impact. 6

I like the colors, but in this case, I might like a little less of the upper sky, so that each strip of horizontal color is "weighted" more evenly. Very peaceful.

Beautiful colours - those thick foreground stripes really anchor the image and contrast nicely with the misty background hills.

Beautiful landscape..would be interested to know where this is.. as it is very like the scenery not too far from where I live.
Not a great many Parallel lines in this but just enough to make it count.
