This was a ho hum image of Mr. Tiggs in a tree. First I tonemapped the raw image in photomatix. then...
- crop
- applied LucisArt Whyeth
- applied Imagenomic Portraiture
- duplicate cat's right eye in new layer set to screen blend mode
- duplicate image, flatten, desaturate with channel mixer, change mode to grayscale, change to duotone with pantone yellow, copy back into original as layer and set to 78% opacity
-add ErinM's wonderful overlay in hard light, opacity 39%

-add overlay from flicker (that I'll have to track down and credit) in multiply mode at 100%

Here's the hideous original

as if it was taken out of an 19th century nature book (well, except for the collar), great color processing and perfect overlay. How to turn a snapshot into art!

No kitty picture could be completely hideous - but your remake is
fabulous. Congratulations on an excellent interpretation
of Mr. Tiggs.
