| it is always so calming to see a creature that you would not always see on land, taking a nap and trusting what is around him not to hurt him. well done for for not waking him, would be a 10, but the left side of his face could be a little brighter, 9 |

| Taken from a good low angle, IMO if you stood more to the right you would have better light on your subject and have avoided the shadow on the left |

| I see that the seal is sleeping and that sleeping is peaceful but kind of plain of a picture. |

| I'm having a hard time telling what is going on here. Is the animal sleeping or digging in the sand? I wish I could see more of the side that is in shadow. |

| This picture has a nice range of shadows. The rocks in the background take add texture to the picture but at the same time, they almost distract the viewer from the sun bathing animal. |
