First thought is that one gets up early for a shot like this, and sees in a wonderfully different light: the boat is dark and graceful on the still water while the yachts are moored in the distance, a bare thought or suggestion, and right before us at our feet the shore and a convenient ladder to which is tied the boat in which we might or might not motor to one of the yachts. Second thought is that the dark outer frame is a good foil for this mostly light picture and brings out the boat, though I am thinking of it as a wider matting should it be printed and framed. The faint details all on the horizon make this picture, pull us out. |

Excellent shot Jeff, your username makes more sense now lol. I can only think of a little more sharpness/contrast on the boat and foreground to improve this shot - I love it. |

Beautifully delicate - love how it fades out towards the back right. For my taste, the frame is much too heavy for this soft image. |

Other than the buoys, I'm betting this is nearly B&W to begin with, with only slight touches of color on the boats. Wonderful sense of quiet and simplicity to the shot. |

What a nice tranquil feeling this photo imparts. The water is so calm and the fog is engulfing the boats that dot the horizon, which would be completely lost without them there.

Very cool, a great shot for b&w and a reallynice conversion. I really like the fog engulfing the other boats while the boat in the foreground is so crisp and clear. A very eery feel to the shot. I always love you seascapes and boat shots! |

Excellent capture. The position of the boat and its clarity vs. the misty dreamy background!

I love this one. Nice, simple and tranquil. I like the way the other boats disappear into the mist in the distance. You could have gotten away with cropping out a little of the empty space up top, but that's minor. |
