The path with the trees lining it makes a great example of leading lines. Were this mine, I'd have composed without the post/ball structure. It does provide an anchoring point, but it is also kind of overpowering here. I like the long shadows across the path. A bit sharper focus would add to this. |

This picture's quality irks me. I like it, but there are too many distractions on the outsides of the leading lines, maybe you should have tightened up the shot? |

I am not sure whether there is an unambigious definition of leading lines, but in my book, they should be a line or several lines that lead the viewer's eye towards the main subject of the picture. I think that's not the case in this picture. Your pic uses a vanishing point rather than leading lines. |

The idea was well thought out, however the photo is a bit small. There is a tutorial on resizing for the web to take advantage of the full size of the photo here.
On the photo: I like the postioning of the driveway going to the lower right corner. the stone oblisk on the left hand side is a bit distracting. If you could possibly find a place on the driveway that you could redo this with out it I think it would be alot better. Nice postioning of your focal point and your horizon. |
