Nice panning work and would have liked to have seen the cam details as well as a little comment about the shot from you. I'd have preferred the wall to be a little lighter but then you'd lose some of the great motion blur. Excellent composition in a panning shot, you clicked just at the right time.

Most effective: darkest rider, brightest lamp, midtones for what is blurred. And something to learn from.

First impression is evening, gray building. That light is quite bright and fights for my attention although it (my attention) can rest easily on the rider since he is in focus. On closer inspection this is quite a good capture. You have him captured after the window and before the tree. He is in focus under a low light situation.

I could see a whole East Del Guerra St. photo essay, displayed at a local sandwich or Deli in town. Ooh maybe Woodstock's Pizza! Either way the photo is very cool, more excellent panning.

This is very inspired - wonderful panning shot and such clarity within the darkness.

Pretty impressive sharpness on the rider for the low light.

Very good job of panning. It seems a bid dark, but I think that conveys the nighttime atmosphere better.

really well done - the isolation of the bicyclist is great and the tones of gray are eye pleasing.

Sweet lovely deep shades of gray and black - and I love that light.

This is a very good panning shot. You got the bike rider so clear, but seems like you would have had to use a pretty slow shutter speed. You must have a steady hand! I like that he is the only thing in focus in the photo, and the light adds an interesting element as well.
