 The name is from that big old Lord of the Rings spider. I took this while on a night hike in Belize. We found these huge wolfspiders. I thought a picture from the view of a spider's prey would be interesting. I used two flashes on the ground to light him up. I converted to black and white, did a little sharpening, and formatted for the internet. Kind of a creepy little guy.
