 The day was overcast, and the afternoon light was good.

i dont like the orientation of this shot. I would like to see more of the bird in the air or just the grounded birds

Very well balanced scene here. Looks like the focal point was dead centered on the roll of the waves coming/going ashore, which works well. The gull in the upper reaches of this composition is just icing on the cake. Well done!
