 Ahh, a magical teddy bear to "Guard your childhood"! ala:

It was time-consuming to look through brown ribbons and I found using a teddy bear would be extra challenging for me - yet easy since I had one laying around! Anyway, usually when stuffed animals are used, votes are low - combine that with a hand-held shot that really didn't obviously meet the challenge and you have this last place image that inspired this. My effort was to meet the previous challenge in an obvious way and add the flare that we sometimes see on the front page here on DPC). I'm glad voters responded well.
The procedure was this: Illuminate the subject with a moving flashlight from above for about 18 sec. ... then point the light at the camera and create the streaks out of the arms.
PS: Thanks to my Dad for helping me get the d300 - I can't say enough about it.

great shot, great title, lol... love the streak of light and mirror effect, nice sharp focus, great lighting, very clean, composition and even the look on the bear's face are great, there are so many details that went into this photo, great job... one of my favorites in the challenge
