 This guy lives in some old artists' studios (converted into very chi-chi offices) down the block from our office. Here's the interior of one of them:

There is also a texture I pulled off of a picture I took of an old door. I've found that using the rectangular marquee tool, copy, and paste, you can come up with some pretty weird stuff. Just copy your selection from one picture, paste it into the picture you're working on, hit the move tool, and you can drag the selection to fit the picture you're working on. Hit any other tool to make the transformation and you have a new layer that you can fiddle around with in different blending modes. It's amazing what a different character things (and people!) can take on when taken out of context.
