If the focal point were more on the shadow, I'd have liked this alot more.
Great idea, but the composition seems fragmented, and I'm not sure what to look at. |

Aside from the color in this "black and white" challenge, it's hard to tell what's going on in this picture. The white specks may be shiny things in the sand, but they came out looking like flaws in the image.
It's difficult to get sparkly things to look right, but keep trying! |

I don't think you have made the most of your subjects here and strangely that fact that your shadow shows that you had your hand in your pocket giving the impression of a casual snapshot doesn't help me feel positive towards this.
If you had got close to the shells with the ripples in the sand I think you would have a more interesting picture. |

| I just don't see this as a black and white photo. Not enough white and way too much brown. |

| this is black and brown in a black and white challenge. I like the texture in the sand, but the hot spots from the shells are very distracting, I dont find the pose of the shadow interisting either. |
