This is Kio. She is my baaaaby. Her name used to be Cleo, but when you talk to animals, it's like talking to a baby - your voice goes all funny, and you all of a sudden start oohing and gooing - and high pitched. That's how she became Kio. And you have to say KEEEE-o. She is one of our 4 babies. :)
This was taken on my kitchen counter, right near the sink. She loves to play in the dripping water, so I turned it on for her - so I could get her under the nice bright kitchen sink light. I surprised her when I called her name, so she looked up, startled - which may explain the confused look on her cute little mug.
Very minimal processing. Some selective color, highlights, sharpen, crop, saturation, levels, resize, save for web. |

| She's giving you that "What?? What do you want? I'm doing my own thing here and you're sticking that stupid camera in my face again!" look. I know that look oh too well. Hence the reason my shot of Emma does not show her looking at the camera... she'd seen it all month, practically and pretty much refused to look at me when I had it pointed at her. Cats... |
