 It has been extremely windy since yesterday; it's haru ichiban, the first winds of the Spring. Despite that, there was a fall of powdery snow during the night.
I was hoping to go to a local park and do a multi-Pug composite on the play equipment, but wasn't going to risk having the camera on the tripod in such windy conditions.
Instead, I went to the Nagaoka Hundred Holes, a series of little caves cut out of a big rock several hundred years ago. They contain or contained Buddhist statues. Fortunately, the tripod was sheltered from the wind.

Lovely shot and spot. I love the statue too, I would have liked to see it in b/w. but thats coming from someone who;s done her entire side challenge in b/w. Great job!
