 A green little critter sitting on my ginger plant taken using macro setting on camera. EDIT: Crop, resize, work in layers to adjust sharpness, colour, saturation, lighting & correct hotspots. Resize, unsharp mark, add border.

when cropping, making your subject off center will improve your image

The colours are very eye-catching, but it looks a little over-sharpened overall, or maybe too saturated?..

Gross. I really hate bugs. But this is a nice angle, and even the off color in the bug's legs match the leaf.
