 Here's my new baby hamster, Apollo. Not much more than 7 weeks old. He's kinda slow right now, being so young. I just dumped him in the basket and took lots of pictures. Simple as that.

too cute!
i think you went a little overboard with the white background, because it makes the green of the basket jump out and maybe a bit too bright. i would have gone with a more neutral color.
I hope this does well! s/he is a cutie!

The flash is a bit harsh, I think... the shadow distracts. Cute hamster.
