Look at that intense gave. Wonderful close up. I also like the matching of the brown of the tree with the dog. |

Actually, I did like this one because of the "dog's world" viewpoint of it. In a perfect world there would be a bit more light in his/her eyes. But it's definitely very much "dog". And the nose doesn't need to be in focus for me - works quite well the way it is. |

Cool name for a doggie! I like the angle this was taken with, great details in the fur. |

Cool "in your face" perspective. Love the wiry eyebrows. |

I can almost feel doggie breath on my face. A little too close, perhaps. good detail showing on his face. |

An interesting in your face approach! |

I can see you reflected in the eyes. I think a slightly higher angle of shot would have been more effective. I like the nose jutting out, but that is all I see upon a quick glance. |

The more I look at this shot, the more I like it. At first I was not sure, but after studying it, I appreciate the details you have captured here. It is sharp in all the right places, the colours are deep and rich. Clever angle too. Well done 8 |

The low POV works well with this and makes it unique from many in the challenge. It does feel a bit too close for comfortable viewing IMO and one of the key areas of a portrait (the eyes) is a little dark in this photo.
Just some observations. Good luck in the challenge. |

The nose needs to be sharply focused (and eyes) for this 'in your face' shot to work, in my opinion. |
