A little too stark with that solid white background. Nice clear photo of the cat itself, however.

I think a different colour background would have been better. The white makes your cat look too yellow.

Straight on shot makes the neck disappear into the shoulders. Could you have come in slightly from the side or even taken the shot from underneath?

Great job getting the detail in the cat's fur. The high key background may be a little 'too' high key, but still, good job capturing the cat's personality.
