 Was at the Zoo looking for my Feb FS shot when I spotted this guy, bar his brown eyes he was just perfect for this challenge (am hoping the anal voters give me a break?).

Editing was pretty basic, just played with levels, a little curves then a touch of dodging/burning, resized and sharpened - voila!

1 of only 2 10's I gave for this challenge. Great job. Very National Geographic like. I hope to get out and shooting animals someday. This shot is just really really nice...I don't know what else to say.

Wow, wow, wow, this is a fantastic shot you captured! I love the tight crop and think that having the negative space on the right makes it for a wonderful composition. But what I think makes this one of the strongest entries is the facial expression he has! Really is amazing, best of luck!!
