 I was pretty excited after seeing this challenge that my wife and I were already planning on going to the zoo so I knew I wanted to either get zebras or the pandas. Well the zebras were not as black and white as I would have liked, thanks to the wonderful Georgia red clay, they were more like black and brown so that left the pandas. I was trying to get a picture of the baby panda but when my wife saw this one eating this bamboo I just had to use it.

Shot details: Shot in jpeg, cropped, saturated the greens, adjusted the contrast, sharpened a little, unsharp mask, resized, and added a border.

Hope it does well as its probably my favorite I've submitted so far. This site has been great at making me improve my photography skills and try to stand out from the crowd.

...but maybe better after the photo for a black and white challenge is taken! Sorry, it's a very cute shot, but it has to lose a little for all the color.
