took a random shot of a bottle of wine i brought to a friends house for dinner, liked the way it had a 3-d kinda pop to it so thought i would drop it in the f/s
i am laughing at myself as i enter this since i supposedly (and publicly) swore off free studies after the january entry

There is a common theme to many of these, shallow depth of field. Nice.

I like the background being blurred on this shoy but the DOF is so shallow the letering on the bottle blurred also. Not sure what type of camera you are using but if possible try changing the aperature a couple of steps until you get the DOF right on the bottle without bringing the rest of the shot into focus.

Lovely shallow depth of field and a good white balance. I feel it would be compositionally stronger if the bottle wasn't centrally placed :)
