 United Steelworkers Building, downtown Pittsburgh, taken one gray February afternoon.

Convert from RAW. Then in PSP X2, cloned out an antenna, straightened, levels, curves, corrected white balance, noise removal, resize, USM, JPG.

Love this shot, Brian. I especially like that the angle of the building itself leans toward repeating the shapes on the building surface. Very nice lighting as well.

Interesting building, since it is so busy possibly it could benifit from more negative space?

I like the pattern but there's something about the image that I'm just not on board with ... I'm not quite sure what it is either, focus is good and sharpness is good, I think the fact the sky is washed out doesn't help ... maybe a different angle shooting up at the building would make the photo stand out more by giving an interesting perspective

Would have liked to see the entire frame filled with this pattern. Would have been a ten for me. Negative space severely hurt my 'subjective' opinion of the image = 6
