 I took this picture of animal tracks in the snow near the nature area/hiking trails that run behind my apartment building. The mid-afternoon sun was at a nice angle to reveal the texture of the wind swept snow and cast some interesting shadows in the tracks themselves.

Simple post-processing:

White balance
Levels to remove a blueish color cast in the shadows
Improve definition (Aperture 2.0)
Sharpen
Save to size for DPchallenge.

This shot is a little to vaguefor me. I would have been more interested if the foot prints were distinguishable as animal, or human etc.
