Those must be magnetized metal fillings? The idea is great!! though the sharpness and depth of field is not quite there. |

This is a really cool abstract, i love this shot. The lighitng is dead on and a very nice DOF. I'm not sure what it is but I imagine it to be a group of iron particles that clump together when a magnet is use around them. Nice job and good luck. |

I think I'd like to see sharper detail on the ring, and since you more or less centered this it is bugging me that the crop on the left is just a little wider than on the right. Anal, I know, but I can't help it. |

very different idea, at first I couldn't figure it out but it is the effect of a magnet? bit out of focus and uninteresting as a subject though |
