This has many steps and 4 layers in various modes and opacities, with me erasing back over his face with varying degrees. I had taken a close up photo of wallpaper with script on it, so that was one of the layers. This is an old shot but I just reworked it.

Striking silvery look to his face and features that draw you in - like a great star of silent films. Nice use of the texture, acts as good "back up" in this portrait, doesn't overwhelm, just right.

Reminds me of an old printing plate. Nice job on the layers and a great portrait.

What a wonderful portrait. First, he's a remarkable handsome bugger - no doubt will be a lady killer. I love the texture work and the bits of coloration to it. Really cool with this photo and tone. Excellent!

I love your original portrait of Grayson, Judy, but this one you've turned into a real artsy piece. I love the way that you've embellished it with the squiggles and bits of color. Really cool!
