 I don't really expect this photo to do that well, but I love it! We visited Memphis, Tennessee last weekend and got to tour the Gibson Guitar factory. They took us back to show us how they make guitars and this rack of guitars was sitting there and the colors and pattern were so beautiful that I just absolutely had to shoot them. Unfortunately they weren't really part of the tour and the tour guide walked us past them really quickly. At the end of the tour I ran back over and shot them super quick. I wish that I would have had more time because I would have had a ball spending all afternoon shooting them, but I got what I could sneak in in a couple of minutes. I'm happy with the end result and I'm really glad that I get to use them in a challenge.

Guitars can look fabulous - I've never yet managed to do a shot that does justice to the grain, and colours etc. but maybe one day. . .

Must have been a great place to visit though !! Pity you couldn't have used this shot in the Patterns challenge :- )

Nice color and DOF. Technically it's a nice photo but emotionally it doesn't do anything for me. Makes me think more of an ad for Guitar Center.

THeme wise I think this is perfect. Photo wise I think a deeper DOF would've made a bigger impact. Great colors, tones, comp and idea!
