 Obviously trying to mimic Adams' coal photo. I thought hey! It worked black, why not orange? The shot was very simple. orange construction paper on a table, tripod aiming down (holding carrots)I think it turned out ok. Added border, saturation and contrast adjustment in PS. I just hope people will get it.

While you got perfect color on the carrotts, the hand looks like it isn't getting any blood flow, rather blue and scary looking. A bit of levels work on the blue might have helped.

I love the orange flecks on the hand. Nicely done. The background is just the right shade. Really makes the hand stand out.

Orange alright. This is just not appealing. Carrot under the fingernails doesn't make me want one.....LOL I think the shot is just okay....somewhat soft/oof. The frame is saying formal and the carrot bits say casual. Little more light, little more focus.
