This is an outtake from the Peace challenge. It's an outtake because 1) it is really not a Peace pose and 2)I used advanced editing to separate her from the BG. There just was not enough light to really do her justice. She was patient but it's obvious that I am still a beginner.

I think you should have used this in the Peace challenge to see how many comments you would have gotten about the pose. :) That woman is so darn flexible.

Beautiful lighting.

What a great concentration shot, that's really flexible to bend that far with your leg crossed. The candles and lighting work really well.

Wow Ron. This is mesmerizing. She has such a look of a yoga person. I love the pose. The candles. But mostly just her. She is pretty and draws you in. Who is that anyway? I love this one alot!

I do like this, as much for the ability of your subject to get in this postion as anything :) You have adone a good job with the lighting and note your settings. The softness works well for me, its a peaceful looking shot :)

There may be technical issues, but I find the shot very pleasing - it has a nice sense of balance and flow and indeed peace.

quite the position. I really like it. The only thing I notice is it's a bit grainy which I'm sure had to do with the lighting issue you mentioned. The idea is great though and the composition is incredible. I think you do a good job!

At 1/13 this is excellent. I find the pose very interesting and the expression is very calm. I think a wider view would be worth to look at.

For an image that has a serene quality it seems to be tightly boxed in by the crop and the candles so close to the model. I wonder how this would have been if you took this concept in a more Zen, wide open space like direction?

This photo IS beautiful, and it does certainly have a peaceful feel to it. The candles and the candle light really are an enhancement. All, I know, though, is if I tried getting into this position, someone would have to call 911.

I really like the glow on her face from the candles. Very soft and pretty. Not sure though I like her hand wrapped around her back like that. Beautiful b/w.

I think the pose is the most interesting part of this photo. I do think the look on her face is rather peaceful.

Interesting pose - There are no notes on the post processing, but some of the shadow areas look like they were "worked over" a bit too much. I do like unique pose and the candles.
