keep me wet with tears
then dry with neglect
as I ponder the simple meaning
of my existence
of what matters
and most assuredly
why I am here
by myself

Words are strange; sometimes I cannot see the words, I can only see the image, the tilt of the head, the way your hair rests gently on the bend of your arm, the longing in your eyes, and I wonder, what taste has loneliness . . . Wonderful.

P.S. Nothing wrong with the words here, mind you, but I can just never seem to get past the image (I'll keep trying) . . .

Deeply emotive. There's a fitting touch of blue tone to the image. I think that we can all relate to moments like this at some times throughout our lives. Really nice work, Judy.
