This is one of the bazillion flowers in the garden. Late afternoon after a rain, the leaves were in deep shadows (no dodge & burn) and the flowers were white, making them stand out from the background.

I'm amazed at the details even at 640pixals. The water droplets just explode out at you. Great capture.

I think this composition could use a little work, I think it could be more dynamic, but it seems the line of interest goes directly through the middle of the frame. I do like the light, it is nice and soft and fits the flowers nicely.

Soooo pretty and delicate. The white is so soft and the droplets add an extra dimension. I like how you naturally achieved a dodge and burn kind of look.

Really great flower shot for B&W, the water drops look great and the flower really jumps out at you with the dark background. Very well done.

Very pretty!! I love the soft blurry burst in the middle. This is a perfect photo to show off black and white tones.

I first noticed the damaged flower. I know, always going for the negative. Not really, I like the photo a lot and the DOF with the leaf just visible in the BG is really cool and water always makes flowers look more interesting.

The thing I get most from this is how delicate those petals are - is that rain damage? Am wondering if this would look better with more dof or at a slightly different angle?

Gorgeous exposure to keep the detail in the whites. Lovely softness, peacefulness to the presentation. And I do like flowers like this in B&W instead of color.

Such beauty! Great shot. The drops, the high contrast and the distinctive lines really made for a powerful shot.

the thumb of this does no justice. i glanced over it and thought 'pft...ill get back to that one.' i really like the DOF that is created here, the detail in the flowers is awesome, especially in the drops of water. awesome shot, i really enjoyed this.

I like the water droplets on the flowers...especially the two in the upper right that are so round, and so sharp.
