Very natural scene. The B&W conversion let's the pure emotion shine through. |

I wish I had more photos like this from when my family was young. Cherish it. It's beautiful. |

Ohhhhhhhhh .. . . this is awesome. I love her radiant smile. It looks so candid and real. And your neice looks so intent like she is trying so hard to read a big word.
This is a beautiful moment you captured. Thanks for sharing it with us!

Excellent composition and exposure and a great image to frame and display. So much more than just a family album shot. The only thing I might suggest you change would be that you closed that o-so-large aperture down to maybe 5.6 then the bg would remain the same and your niece would be tack sharp as well (unless this shot was taken to have Mrs Dawson as the main subject). |

What a nice family picture. I miss reading with my youngsters who are getting old enough now to have little ones of their own. Great DOF and conversion. |

warm fuzzies all over. nice moment (that much is obvious) but other then that i think the comp looks really, plenty of look room but not to much negitive space. nice capture. |

Wonderful! Very full of life - great smile from your wife and a very intent (and to me very satisfying) look from your niece - the joy of reading is one of those things that is always good to share. Very nice work! |

These are truly my favorite type of pictures. The ones that feel genuine and capture the moment good or bad. This is obviously a good moment and it's one to treasure. Candids are the best in my opinion. I love this. |
